The St. Louis Rams thrash the Indianapolis Colts without Peyton Manning

St. Louis Rams Thrash Peyton Manning-less Colts in preseason opener. The first test of the 2011 preseason was not a problem for the St. Louis Rams 'new offense, and the Rams' defense made short work of old Peyton Manning of the backups as the Rams rolled up a 33-10 victory over the Indianapolis Colts . Sam Bradford went 7-for-12 with 45 yards and a touchdown before handing things to a sharp-looking AJ Feeley, while Keith Toston the Rams' brand-name backups awarded by rushing for 11 carries 64 yards and a touchdown . Lance Kendricks and Danario Alexander received a broad attack on top, while rookie Craig Dahl and Dan Orlovsky Jermale Hines intercepted and Curtis Painter to keep the Colts to 10 points.
It was a strong start for a Rams team that a lot of momentum and a lot of questions in the second year of their star quarterback the season wears, but some questions remain, particularly on which of the 10 receivers he and Feeley oriented real camp break with the club . Alexander seems to have won most of the week, with the hitherto anonymous Mardy Gilyard also pulling down two receptions.
